  • Senate Bill No. 276, Printer's No. 252 | Summary (Argall) - An Act amending the act of June 22, 2000 (P.L.318, No.32), known as the Downtown Location Law, further providing for powers and duties of the Department of General Services.
    • A01425 (Earll) – This amendment to section 4 would strike proposed new subsection (a.1) (relating to denial of request)  that would require the department to deny a request by a State agency to locate outside a downtown area unless a majority of the factors specified in the guidelines are found to be unsatisfactory to the agency's needs.
  • Senate Bill No. 800, Printer's No. 809 | Summary (Waugh) - An Act amending the act of December 17, 1981 (P.L.435, No.135), known as the Race Horse Industry Reform Act, further providing for the composition of the State Horse Racing Commission.
    • A01378 (Earll) – This amendment would amend section 201 (b) (relating to the establishment of the commissions – State Harness Racing Commission) of the Race Horse Industry Reform Act, by further providing for the composition of the State Harness Racing Commission in that not more than two of the three commissioners shall at the time of appointment reside in the same county.  This amendment to the composition of the State Harness Racing Commission parallels the amendment to the composition of the State Horse Racing Commission.
  • Senate Bill No. 1007, Printer's No. 1121 (Vogel) - An Act amending Title 64 (Public Authorities and Quasi-Public Corporations) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for the First Industries Program by extending the sunset date and other corresponding dates by four years from June 30, 2011 to July 15, 2015.
